Intermittent sudden loss of power on highway

I'm having a very strange problem that I've never even heard of. I've been testing and researching but nothing has come up yet. Here's the problem: While driving down the highway, at anything over 60, the engine will eventually lose power after maybe 10 minutes of driving at 60mph plus. I can...

Who sells modified upper control arms?

I noticed on rough country's 2-3" lift for our trucks come with a modified upper control arms that I'm guessing are angled differently and are slightly longer to fix alignment issues. The issue I'm having is, when my truck is leveled, the UCA rides the bump stop and my camber/caster cams are...

    Everyone running the 6" RCX

I recently installed the kit and since then I've had to lower the front end due to riding on the bump stops. Lowering the front end also fixed my alignment issues, I'm able to get it in the green on camber and caster now. I only lowered it an inch.. which did fix all issues except one.. On some...

Lift is completely done, but still one issue persists.

I recently installed the RCX 6" lift. Got it aligned for $80, got it in to the shop I work in tonight before I left and it was off terribly lol.. I was like 80 bucks for this?? I'm actually going back to Big O tomarrow to get a full or at least partial refund because that's some BS.. I have the...

Got front RCX lift on, few questions.....

I just finished the lift on the front of my truck, it's a 6" RCX. Everything went real smooth, everything fit alright... the diff needed some prying to get the mounts in but other than that it wasn't too bad. I noticed the driver side brake line is twisted really weird.. and is rather close to...

    3" Body lift & 35x12.5 - Would they rub

The plan for my truck is 6+3 and 35x12.5's. I'm not going to get the 6" right now, but I am however going to get the 3" body lift and the 35s right now. The tires are 35x12.5x15 BFG M/T KM2's. I'm not sure what backspacing I can run to avoid them rubbing the bumper(Don't want to trim it). I want...

    6" RCX + 3" BL - 35x14.5x15 boggers?

I'm curious what this looks like. Does anyone have any pics with this exact or similar setup (6+3+35s). And what trimming is necessary?

Bolt-on hitch reciever for winch cradle

I've got what I think is a ranch hand rear bumper. I'm planning on bolting a 5.5" x 12" 1/4 inch plate of steel in the ball area and welding/bolting a 2" square tube on it. I've seen another truck with this kind of setup so I'm guessing it's strong enough. My bumper: What I'm thinking...

4x4 Manual floor stick to push button?

What would you need to convert from floor shifter to push button 4x4. I'm guessing you'd need the button and wiring harness, and the electronic transfer case. Anything else?

    Rag Joint Eliminator for 96+?

I have a 97, so I can't use the XJ shaft. But I was wondering, has anyone found a u-joint conversion kit or an entire replacement shaft with only one u-joint for the box to get rid of the rag joint?

Two questions - And looking for RCX dealer

    Question 1 - You'd run 4.56's for 35" tires right? (KM2's) Question 2 - Any dealers that sell 6" RCX cheaper than 1,094 shipped to NM, 88310?

    RCX Lift Installation Video

Has anyone out there found a video of someone installing the 6" RCX lift on our trucks? I haven't yet found one.. I'm sure written instructions from RC would be enough for anyone to install the lift but I like to watch someone do it before I go do it. And I'm sure a few others would like to aswell.

    Backspacing comparison

I think I've got my question answered already but I'd like a few other opinions. I've seen a truck with 15x10 wheels and 4" backspacing. I'm trying to figure out what backspacing I'd need for some 16x8 wheels to stick out just as much. I'm assuming 15x10 with 4" backspacing have 6" in front of...
