    What have you towed lately

Thanks lol Yes, it was originally a longbed truck. I sourced out a swb frame and swapped everything over onto it. Drove around for a few yrs with an underbed notch and finally decided to cut it up more, the line you are seeing behind the front tire is the taillight harness lol has sat with the...

    3/4 Ton of fun - ‘95 Sierra

I had the same issue with that ttx line when I replace the upper ball joints on my truck. If you order the complete kit that they sell on RockAuto, they dont supply the correct ones. I had to return those and ordered TXMS50574, those fit perfect on the control arm along with the cage. Just a...

    The Stupid Lowered Questions Thread

I originally ran a belltech 4" drop in my K3500 which also stated wasn't compatible with a K series, everything bolted up fine. Keep in mind if you eventually plan to do a flip kit you will have to install original front leaf spring mounts and shackles.

    Lowering a k3500 4wd

I currently have a Tinworks Fab in mine and I constantly bottom out. I would've bought a DC fab if they were out at the time i did mine, they give you an additional 2.5" clearance and still remains under bed, you can buy a Tinworks fab shim kit to correct all the angles.

    My Lowered 2000 CCLB K3500

Thanks! They need a bit of love for 20+ yr old wheels but I cant complain. I traded my factory steels with simulators and if I remember right, $150 to the other guy for these. All hold air fine and came with brand new tires

I was told by LOWBOY motorsport that the lowest you can go while retaining 4x4 is a 3/5 without running into any issues. No need to notch

    The Stupid Lowered Questions Thread

So another question for lowering a 4x4. As mention before to achieve a 4" drop in rear, a drop hanger and shackle are required. Ive search for several hrs and have had no luck finding drop hangers for a 4x4 "k" series. Would a 2wd drop hanger work on the 4x4 frame?
