    alright I played with the distrbuter a but at 1000rpm using my reader to watch and got it dialed in (kinda) it still has a small miss at ide but otherwise it runs smooth.... I'll play with it for now and my work has a nice reader I can use if I bring it there.

    I replaced all the front brake lines on a 1990 k1500 including the abs unit small lines I've been able to get fluid to both front calibers but is very slow on both sides... 2 lines in the back of the truck on the second line for the rear are broke and leak a crap ton but I need just the fronts...

    Alright I put a brand new cap,rotor,and distributor in and pointed it at number 1 at tdc and it still pops there goes 90$ what now?

    Not really I just took the top ends right off the old engine and slapped it on the new one and then timing covers and that was it

    The truck is a 96 vortec that I blew 2 rod bearings in so I swapped the top end on a 90 5.7 good tbi bottom end from a junkyard.

    Recently I put a set of vortec heads on a tbi block and when I put oil in it and started it, it ran fine. But when a put coolant in it mixed with the oil and half the coolent gushed out the back somewhere.. how can I fix this

    Are the timing marks on a Vortec , 350, timing chain cover, which doesn't have the #'s 0, 2, 4, etc, be the same position as a 92 350 block? Done a swap with the Vortec, TBI, GMPP intake.
