Mystery weatherstripping part - what is it?

There is some kind of weatherstripping or seal that sits between the windshield frame and the door. My driver's side has come loose and won't go back on fully due to the bottom part of it being broken, so it won't stay fixed within the channel. Does anyone know what part this is? I've searched...

Set stock radio clock to military time?

Anyone know if you can set the clock in the stock Delco Electronics radio to 24-hour/military time?

Air Filters.... HD RPO K47 vs. Standard

Mine is the Donaldson. I worked pretty hard to get it to fit since I thought it should. But the box just wouldn’t close all the way so I couldn’t latch it. YMMV, I guess!

Air Filters.... HD RPO K47 vs. Standard

FYI: With my 1997 K1500 with the 5.7l, the K47 HD filter does NOT fit in my standard filter box. I had read somewhere on here that one could get the A1301C filter and it would fit - even if not originally equipped - but it did not fit in my truck.

Passenger Door Vent Cover - Where can I find one?

On my 1997 K1500, there is a vent cover on the inside the passenger door that has cracked right around the fasteners. Due to those cracks, it has the annoying behavior of falling out every other time that door is used. I've searched the part diagrams and apparently this is a "pressure relief...

Correct way to wire accessories to aux battery?

Overthinking it?? Isn't exploring and analyzing every single possibility part of the fun? :D I can totally run another line myself - in fact I've done this kind of thing with the RigRunner with great results. I was just curious if there was an official way, hidden away somewhere in the shop...

Right... and that's what I'm ultimately after: How do I do that? :) Does this involve disconnecting the cigarette lighter leads from the existing fuse box and creating a new, fused run through the firewall? Or is there some way to do this "officially" using the existing wiring and fuse box in...

As I understand it, I'll be hooking up both batteries to the isolator so that the alternator will charge both when running. When off, the voltage will drop and the isolator will open so I can run things off the aux battery and it won't drain the starter. Hopefully I have that correct? Right -...
