    Sorry been away. Looks like good diagnostic info has been provided, something is definitely wrong in fuel delivery.

    Was this truck a factory 7.4? When you mentioned flipper made me wonder. I am not the electrical specialist by any means. I think in stickies here the manual can be found or another member sent me a link a long time ago

    do you have a vaccuum gauge if so whatsbit reading? Can you cycle injectors on and off with scanner you are using to see if one is the issue?

    Someone here told me to pull #3 plug wire and if it starts , you likely have a bad cap. Tried and proven test. New doesn't mean good. Been there too.

    My 95 came with a "soot" trap. I t is a 1500. It runs a 4in exhaust with ultra flow style muffle sound sweet at idle deep rumble. No drone on the highway.

    @Schurkey i saw your post on another thread about pulling plug wire 3. After i posted above. So i guess i have narrowed my problem to a dizzy cap. Anyone make a good one ?

    Ok with the wealth of knowledge and experience on here someone knows the answer! Putting spark tester to work. No love on cyl1, so pull coil wire since it doesn't plug up just slid in beside at video the test, have spark. So back to 1 again nothing. So i pulled wire of 3. Put.wire back on 1...

    Finally between rain, work and life i got a spark tester. No spark on cyl1 but it did pick up on timing light so looks like weak spark. Didn't get to try on coil wire yet. Since it is part of the fleet lol not my commuter i will finsh diagnostic tomorrow hopefully, think coil or in dizzy.

    What is the budget? I do not know what all info you can gsther on your truck. But, i bought a Topdon Phoenix lite 2. It will read my obd1 suburban 6.5 diesel. And all my obd 2 collection and as a bonus bi directional / vagcom for my vw commuter. But expect to drop 750
