    For anyone else who has this issue, I think I have figured out the solution. At least in my case. I was using the original coolant temperature sensor and replaced it with a new one. This is the sensor in the intake that sends temperature to the computer, not the one in the side of the head...

    Was this issue ever resolved? I am having the exact same issue with my new GM L31 Crate engine with a newly installed Delphi MFI injector set up in my 1999 ECSB. I just stumbled across the thread, so I haven't gone through all the tests you have yet.

    I found mine at a local pick-n-pull yard. Pretty easy to grab, just be careful when you remove it as the clips are brittle and will break.

    The oil galleries weren’t leaking and it’s not from the trans. It’s tilted the other way so there’s no way oil could run up that way. And it also doesn’t have fluids in it. Bought a new clutch kit for it and installed the new pilot bearing that came with it.

    4l60 to nv4500 swap

    Not sure if you figured this out yet, but for my swap in my OBS 1999 I did not have to move the cross member at all and the NV4500 used the same mounting location and even the same mount as the 4L60E. I'd imagine it's the same on your 1995.

    I ended up taking the flywheel, clutch disk, and pressure plate to a transmission shop while i was having some other work done on my transfer case and he agreed the disk is worn and should be replaced. New clutch and pressure plate, machining the fly wheel. I feel like this should have lasted...
