the Lord did An excellent job, just like GM did on transmissions and shell rotela did on oil. But I’m a hot rod guy, and I like custom accessories ;)
Upscale aftermarket accessories can be hard to notice at first glance, pretty seamless integration. The J.C. Whitney type accessories are usually pretty easy to spot though.

Hey, watch it! I built my 1st 283 with J C Whitney parts. My buddy and I took a bus from Milwaukee to Chicago, took a cab to their store (huge store) and bought pistons, rings, bearings, Thrush glass packs, and a hood ornament (ugly thing). They had a big old sign out front on the fascia - something like "B.F. Warschafski". The store was in the core area - pretty scary, even in 1970

That engine lasted ~5K miles :waytogo:

Forgot about those J.C. Shitney catalogues. Looked through them when I had my first car ('78 Camaro Z28), curious of what parts/accessories were available to soup up my ride. Was not impressed with what was presented on those pages. Made great kindling, though.

Hell I wish I knew Canada had milk bags, I paid a lot of money for milk bags here in the states.
After all this time I'm finally starting to understand why Canadians stay there in winter time. The milk bags must get cold enough to tell you the temperature for when it is too cold to continue playing outside. Genius!
