I haven't researched Line-X, but looked into Raptor liner. I would check to see if it has any UV protection in it. Raptor does not, for example. If you ever decide you don't like it, going to be a nightmare to get it off. Probably looking at stripping the whole truck with a heat gun.

It will still scratch to an extent, if you're out on the trails.

I was dead set on doing my whole truck in https://www.monstaliner.com/ but I can also get just a factory color single stage from TCPglobal for a fairly decent price.

Monstaliner has UV protection in it, and doesnt look like it grabs dirt as much. Supposed to be pretty tough. There are some vids on yt people putting it on their vehicles. Can be sprayed or rolled.

Have spent the last half year trying to decide which way to go, lately been leaning towards just a cheap single stage in the factory color. Its meant to be a trail/travel rig. I dont even wanna use the O word.

Pretty sure Line X clear coat is UV protectant. I just read a thread on another site where guy claims he had it done, and 5 years later it’s shown no color change.

Looks like their "Premium" on the website has UV protection built in, but the regular does not. Ive burned through hours of peoples videos on lining their vehicles. Some really didn't even look faded, but when compared to fresh, a big difference. Some held up well, and no problems. Some started to crack in areas, then holding water underneath.

I may have shot down the Line-X because it has to be taken somewhere to put on, I dont remember. I'm a poor boy, gotta do it all myself.

Last summer at gas station I seen a Jeep Wrangler done full body in Rhino. Think it was cleared though so washing was easier. It was black, not color tinted Rhino, but had a glare to it, not a flat black, more satin look. Had my 89 show truck box Rhino lined, Had hell of a time to cut through it at bolts to install my Tonneau cover. Stuff is bullet proof !!!
