You've got a
crank sensor code.
Show us the scan tool report of the
crank sensor signal. Waveform, (graph) if the tool has that ability.
Given that you "Put timing light it flashes." and you have RPM showing on the scan tool, the crank sensor can't be dead. It might be intermittent, in which case it would have been nice if you'd watched the RPM on the scan tool vs. the key position. If you have RPM showing the whole time that the engine is cranking, the crank sensor is not what's preventing the engine from starting.
Pull a plug wire. Connect a spark tester
calibrated for HEI, facing the driver's seat. Crank engine, watch for spark. If you have spark on three (or more) plug wires, I'd expect the engine to at least pop if not run. If it doesn't pop...
pull the plugs and assure they're not fouled.
The important thing with spark-testers is to buy one that actually tests the spark voltage, and in the process loads the ignition system insulation. There's all sorts of "spark testers" that do nothing but light-up a light bulb, in the same way that the timing light flashes but
does not test spark voltage. They're almost worthless. My favorite kind of spark tester:
