What years had quad GLASS sealed beam headlights?

Tech: 88-89 GMT400 Quad Sealed Beam upgrades (Bosch T84 E-code headlights)

I’ll start this thread off by simply stating that the output of the 88-89 sealed beam headlights are a joke. This thread will outline the OEM lighting in the quad headlight trucks, and available upgrade options. Many people simply say switch to composite headlights; while this is a valid option...

Lmc sells the quads in crystal clear that take the 9006 9005 bulbs. Plastic but you still get that classic look.

Not without heavy modification, at least as far as I'm aware.

W/T is short for "Work Truck." Common term for the base model trucks.

Those are the ones I linked on the first page. Are you sure they're plastic lenses? The description on LMC says they're glass. I saw that one of them was out of stock when I posted that but I didn't realize they'd been unavailable for so long...

He was referring to swapping an older (81-87) square body front end on to a newer (88-91) blazer/burb/crewcab square body. This is a direct bolt on because you're not changing body style. See my earlier post explaining the difference.

The earlier trucks had 2 4x6 bulbs and will not fit without fabrication.
I am using the 4701/4703 bulbs for the time being. Eventually I want to use the Hella 60mm projector headlamps in a fabricated housing behind the plastic lenses from the junk composite headlights for a bit of protection for the new housings.
They will fit with a bit of determination and the price isn't horrible. These are the ones.

Until I get around to changing them over I will use the Sylvania vision plus 4701 and 4703.
