Yep, 76,280 rabid Broncos fans stomping the hell out of the structure and bouncing some really old and tired out steel.
Fun fact, the life span of a stadium before its needs major repairs is only twenty years
And the old mile high still had some of its original structure from 1948.
Ztadiums take a beating that is fairly unique and the freeze thaw cycle in Denver can be pretty extreme.
They also had a crew that travelled the country salvaging seating system parts from other old stadiums and movie theaters because they didnt make them anymore.
The whole stadium operation was run by an awsome guy named Gail Stuckey who was the absolute king of duct tape and bailing wire.
Ive rigged some pretty serious **** in my time but Ive got nothing compared to Gail's abilities
