Not much progress on the truck, just been hitting the yards in search of things for my truck or things folks can use. I came across an uncommon 2 door blazer. It’s a 99 work truck model, and it had the clear glass!!! So I come back the next day and spend three hours cutting out the glass. I’ve then spent a few nights removing the old tint...which has been a much bigger undertaking than I had originally planned. So if anyone is looking for clear glass, let me know!

Finished my project. 3-4 hours to pull the glass, 12 hours removing old tint (very brittle). I tried ammonia, steam, razor, and heat gun. But it’s done!

Well..back to lighting.

I finally got the jdm a stars mounted in the bosch high beam lenses. The back of them hit the core support, but do fit. Then I finally got some photos. I’m pleased with them. I still need to do some aiming

For the valence fogs, I grabbed a set of cheapo beamtech leds to try in the housings as they had decent reviews. I won’t be using them. The scatter pattern seemed ok, but you have to enlarge the opening in the fog light housing for them to fit and then they hit the shield. And ultimately they aren’t as bright. So I’ll stick with halogen until I can find a decent led option. I don’t feel like going through the effort that @88GMCtruck did to fit hid lights in them.

How are the JDM Astars? I was checking some out for my dad's car.

Also picked up some goodies over the last couple weeks. I’ll let you all use your imagination.

And because I get distracted, I finally decided to led swap some steering wheel controls. It basically takes two sets as you usually break something on either side taking them apart. They aren’t really made to come apart easily.
