Having a brain fart. Where does this fit?

My ‘89 doesn’t have one but I think I’ve seen this in my step father in law’s ‘93

Mine has the fancy stereo with EQ/cassette, his does not.

Or does it attach under the dash?

Looks gray. So I’m interested.

It's gray. Mounts to the lower dash panel roughly under the center dash vents. I'll see if I can find a picture.

Thanks, but now that I remember how far out it comes, I think I should pass. With my luck I’d knock into my Big Gulp when choosing 2nd gear.
