cant wait to see tinted pics!

I know its late now but for the super glue remover, 3M Citrus Adhesive Remover works really good and is usually safe for the base material.

I’ll have some for ya tomorrow lol.

If everything goes smooth I’ll have cab mount bushings in this weekend as well. Looks like someone tried to replace the drivers side already because the head of the bolt is snapped off. I soaked the passenger side in wd for a couple days and it came out in one peice. For the Record the cab mount bolts on a gmt800 are m12x1.75

Na Warsaw. I usually tend to avoid ft.wayne if I can, just to much traffic and I get road rage like a ****.
Consider this a before pic.

Looks waaaayyyy more gooder when the cab and bed are aligned properly lol. Cab mounts have a little settling to do but looks way better already. These pics probably also show the tint better

Fought with this **** for about a half hr. Wouldn’t even budge with a map gas torch so I busted out the oxy acetylene. The whole thing was just threads before, ******* P.O. snapped the bolt off.

Haven’t drove it yet but I’d imagine the ride is better. Tomorrow I’m gonna raise the torsion keys a bit to level it out. Next weekend I get off I’m gonna try to get a new ac compressor on it.

Sooo would you guys rather swap an ac compressor, or swap just the clutch on the compressor? Idk if the system has Freon in it or not.

I bought a 5.3 with a rod knock for $100 tonight off the wife’s uncle. It had a good ac compressor on it so I pulled that already. It came out of a Tahoe so would that be an upgraded compressor compared to the one on a 1/2 ton w/t? I’m curious bc Tahoe’s have fear a/c.

Also i went out to the ladys uncles and tore the oil pan off the 5.3. Pretty much a whole rod bearing was laying in the pan in peices and the crank is toast. But the block should be fine so thats good.

this is what im making them out of, its 1” round with a half inch hole in the center, pretty heavy stuff but itll work. Weve got like 2 dozen 10ft+ bars outside work and my boss said i could have them.
