recently i posted about my fuel pressure, it's similar to yours, and i have determined that my next step is replacing the fuel pump. if that doesn't fix it, my recently installed fuel injection spider/pressure regulator assembly is at fault.

Don't overlook the electrical. The OEM fuel pump wiring was actually not adequate when NEW to get all the OEM pumps capacity much less now ~25 years later. You can only test the voltage reaching the pump with the pump actually pumping fuel, I was only seeing 10.5 volts at the wiring before the pump connector at the pump with the engine running prior to the Racetronix upgrade. After I was seeing 13.5 with the alternator charging at 13.8. I was running the OEM upgrade spider at 70 psi at the time.

I am going to run a Racetronix fuel pump harness and a new pump. This should help feed the engine the fuel it needs. I called Racetronix today and they want me to drop the tank and see which style plug I have inside the tank so that they can sell me the correct parts. Guess I get to go drop a half full tank of fuel tonight just to take a picture of a connector.

Update, I did NOT end up going with the Racetronix module. I ended up installing a new fuel tank with a new Delphi module in it along with new fuel lines and a filter.

Fuel pressure did not change!!!!! Not happy about the work and money that went into this only to have the same fuel pressure. So now, I need to look at other areas that are causing fuel pressure to stay around 48-50 at idle.

Next step is pull upper intake and look for a leak in the spider or FPR mounted on the spider.

I really didnt want to do that unless I had a new replacement to toss back in. I replaced it a 3 years ago with a Delphi unit. OEM one was covered in carbon. I now have the EGR turned off in the tune so this one shouldnt be too dirty. I just dont want to spend the $300 on a new one. This is all because I have a misfire that I just cant find. It has to either be a spider, distributor or two faulty head gaskets now.

Here is the Delco unit I bought, Amazon was cheapest by a long shot for this part number with the gaskets and bracket.
