I haven't put them in yet but I am gonna build some riser mounts when I can get some time off from the wife and kids I also picked up a console out of a 04 Tahoe I'm gonna make work ill post some pics when I start on it
To polish them 1st screw them to a work bench using the mounting holes then start sanding either by hand or with a DA sander with 800 grit then with a 1000 then 1500 then 2000 finsh it off with 3000 grit and buff with rubbing compound and then again with a finishing glaze it sound worse than it...
Ok some back ground on my truck it's 355, comp cam, true duals, no cats so here's my problem some times it idles around 800 sometimes around 600 and sometimes at 1300 and when I let off the gas it will rev up to 11-1200rpms and then drop back down to what I call normal 800rpm so please help!
One more question fellas can I run 22"s with out rubbing and if so what back spacing do I need and what size tire oh and I think I'm going to drop the front one more inch I like a lil bit of a rake for a total of 5/6
Here's my deal I have a 92 C1500 dropped 4/6 with a mcgaughys full kit I only have one complaint it a lil to soft I used the shocks that came with the kit, does anyone know a good stiffer shock I don't want it to be like a rock but I don't want it mushy either....
