Thanks! I noticed the ect to disable was the same on all files regardless if equipped or not, so I just set the dtc as instructed and left ect at 36°, am wondering if setting the ect to 256 would completely disable it or am good with just adjusting the dtc, thoughts?
Awesome I will also input that data in, one thing that's been bothering me is the current express file am running is from an l31 equipped with an air pump so obviously am getting the p0410 code, other then removing the dtc would it be a good idea to change the values found under fuel for example...
So the maf table found on this file would work with a stock gmt400 air box? I ask because am slowly adjusting my 411 and this would be a huge help to get it dialed in.
Under transmission settings table go to general tab, under configuration it will be set to PRNDL scroll the options and select none, by doing that you don't have to run any wires from the dash and your truck will run fine, you may have a fault for it but can be disabled
Will get on that before anything, I run premium all the time since I don't daily the truck, and stock timing is very conservative so there's room in that area. Realistically what should our target ratio be when pe is enabled? Did notice maf table is off from bb, I read somewhere that copying the...
I've done some reading on how to go about it, most of the hpt forum is heavily ls based info but the concept is the same. I have an aem wideband that I need to install which i know is essential, guess it'll be a learning experience as I go about it.
Thank you for the input, any other adjustments that yall can recall when swapping to a 0411? Ive calibrated speedo and trans shift points and tcc lock up as well to the stock configuration of my bb and its worked well, my goal is to continue to get familiar with hptuners for a future build and tune.
0411 swapped my 98 k1500 everything went well, while comparing files from the black box and the default express van template obviously some differences some of which ive went ahead and changed, my question would be when it comes to transmission torque management would I keep the same percentages...
So take your actual mph and divide it by what your speedo reads, then multiply by your current rev/mile and that should give you your new rev/mile? And when inputting the new rev/mile is it for vss pulses or do you input it in gear ratio and tire size?
Piggy backing on this thread I recently did a 411 swap on my 98 k1500, all went well, the only thing I've noticed is that my speedo is off by about 5 to 10 mph, I have used the tire wizard and input the info it needs but still off, wondering if my vss output or speedo settings have to be changed...
Most probably a rear main, your intake manifold could also be leaking from the valley in the rear, I doubt it's spewing from your distributor but another possibility.
