    Still running well. One trick to get it to go into closed loop/learning is I found a video where the default Holley uses the correction tables to prevent learning. Here is the video I found explaining what helped me get it in closed loop more.

    Could also rewire the starter with a remote solenoid to the battery or somewhere hidden, that way you don't have a hot wire to the starter 100% of the time, the starter main wire only hot when cranking (race cars do this so they don't have a hot wire running the length of the car from a battery...

    Ground based relays, less wires hot to deal with if they chafe and hit metal. Ie, put a ground interrupt on the fuel pump relay is an easy one. If you want to be cleverer, wire up a timer based relay so it runs for 5 seconds only then trips, but they are more expensive than a one wire toggle...

    I'd verify fuel pressure first. Run a wideband O2 guage? It runs, so there is some spark and some fuel and air and compression? Open the hood at night in darkness, are there sparks from plug wires arching out?

    Fuel pressure, check the fuel pressure. I know, its a giant pita, but it is the only way. And not only that, fuel pressure at idle, but also under load. It's almost easier to just upgrade the fuel pump to a better one than rig the pressure tester up to only then upgrade the fuel pump and clean...

    If GM did the same thing they did with the G body cars, everything runs through the ignition switch, which can wear out and cause low voltage. Have fun replacing that if its in the column...

    FWIW, I ran 91/92 or whatever I could get in my boosted cars at altitude that all wanted premium fuel, they all ran fine. I did run down to Denver and get GT100 from a sunoco station from time to time, I think I was in Lakewood, it was only $4 a gallon back then...

    Lolz, I lived there at 7500 ft and drove up to Mt Evans and all around the front range having fun. I had an '88 TBI Sierra 5 speed with 3.73's that barely could make it up that grade from Denver to Evergreen on a hot summer day. Sold the 88 (wish I kept it now) I bought a new 2004 WRX wagon...
