    Can't Load Torsion Bar?

Yup, new bushings arrive tomorrow. Might as well get it all done at once. Absolutely, will definitely be using anti-seize. I'm fully expecting the frame to rust in half before I have to tear these torsion bars out, but you never know.

    Can't Load Torsion Bar?

Sledge with a 3' pipe in the front of the LCA did nothing. I was wailing on it, but the bars wouldn't budge an inch. So I cut the bars as close to the LCA as I could, dropped the LCA completely, and hit the remainder of the torsion bar out with the sledge. I wish I had done this from the start...

    Can't Load Torsion Bar?

I confirmed I have a YH bar on the passenger side (15058268-RH), and I'm fairly confident I have the stock GH bar on the driver side. I think that explains why the passenger side is sitting lower than the driver side even with the key all the way cranked. It's a lower rated bar than what the...

    Can't Load Torsion Bar?

There is a slight difference from old to new, about 1/2" measured at the tip. I'm thinking that most of my ride height issues are from the bars themselves being worn out and possibly the wrong bars. Based on what I've read, I should be able to swap the GL bars for the GH without issue; can...

    Can't Load Torsion Bar?

Hey everyone, looking for suggestions on what to do next. Once I fixed the clocking of the passenger torsion key, the front of the truck is way too low even with maxing out the torsion bars. Additionally, the driver side is higher than the passenger side when setting the bolts to the same depth...

    Fuel Relay Voltage?

Brand new plugs as of a week ago! You read my mind though, because I ordered a HEI spark tester earlier this afternoon. Distributor cap looks fairly new, but I cleaned the contacts anyway.

    Fuel Relay Voltage?

Thanks guys, it was the fusible link. I'm getting 12v to the relay now, and the pump is working as it should. Fuel is spraying out the TBI but still no start, so now I'm off to diagnose spark issues.

    Fuel Relay Voltage?

Just took them all off & cleaned it for a second time; no change. Based on the "Fuel Pump Wiring" diagram, I would expect there to be continuity between the orange wire (#440) and one of the terminals on the junction block. I couldn't find any, so now I'm wondering if one of the fusible links is...

    Fuel Relay Voltage?

I have continuity on the orange cable from the fuel relay side to the ECM side, but I still do not have 12v. -If I jump 12v to the fuel pump directly, the pump works. -If I jump 12v to terminal G, the pump works. -If I jump 12v to #920 in the first diagram I've attached, the pump works. So...

    Fuel Relay Voltage?

Sorry - '94 K1500 with the 5.7 TBI. Planning to check the ECM B fuse, as well as the fusible links on the junction box. I cleaned and inspected them already, but maybe I missed something.

    Fuel Relay Voltage?

I've cleaned every ground I could find, most of them looked ok but I cleaned them anyway. I'm now getting 2.5v with the truck off, which seems to be a step backwards. I also checked the 20A fuse, it's good but has no power running to it. Should that be hot at all times?

    Fuel Relay Voltage?

So my problem is the fuel pump not running at all, and I'm chasing down electrical gremlins. I've been reading a lot of other threads with helpful ideas, but haven't found this answer yet... What is the correct voltage reading for the orange wire on the fuel relay? I'm getting 12v with...

What is this tube on a '94 sending unit?

Thanks, had a feeling it was emissions related. Appreciate it!

    Can't Load Torsion Bar?

Quick update, mainly for anyone searching threads with the same issue in the future... I finally got around to getting the old torsion key off. Had to cut it, which was a pain. It took a combination of drilling holes and angle grinding, along with loading some tension on it using the torsion key...

What is this tube on a '94 sending unit?

Replacing the sending unit on my '94. In the attached picture, the bottom tube is a vent, then above that is the fuel out, then above that the return line... What is the top tube that has no fitting on it (red box)? My truck does not have anything hooked up to it currently.
