Replacing o2 sensors ... wide range in $$$, worth paying up?

"Real" version of not, it worked fine for my application. For $8, I have zero complaints.

Replacing o2 sensors ... wide range in $$$, worth paying up?

The first time the idiot light came on, I threw codes for three 02 sensors. The second time the code came on, I had the mechanic who services our patrol vehicles look over the Yukon (he has serviced multiple generations of our Tahoes). He stated everything looked solid, and also noted the...

Replacing o2 sensors ... wide range in $$$, worth paying up?

I ordered all four AC Delco units from Rockauto for $135 shipped. I don't know the history of the other sensors, figure it would be path of least resistance just to knock them all out at once.

Replacing o2 sensors ... wide range in $$$, worth paying up?

I am installing a new exhaust in a 1997 Tahoe with 350. I plan to replace the o2 sensors while I am at it... I see that there is wide range of cost for the sensors. Sometimes cheap = garbage, sometimes the same auto parts come out of the same factory, in different boxes. In regad to the o2...

Sudden P0141 - for all three 02 sensors at once - make sense?

Sooo... I have put around 1000 miles on a recently purchased '97 Yukon 2 door with Vortec 5.7. 177K miles, with a replaced engine. A few weeks ago, the check engine light on. A few days ago. the light turned off. Today, it came back on. I checked for codes, which returned faults in all...

Replacing ignition cylinder 1997 Yukon - any difference in cylinders?

Nobody has had to replace the lock cylinder in their steering column? The plastic thumb ring is broken off of mine, and needs a little juggling to turn. I don't imagine that I am the only the that has needed to replace it? *Factory AC Delco replacement cylinders, they do not come with a...

Replacing ignition cylinder 1997 Yukon - any difference in cylinders?

I'm getting ready to purchase a replacement ignition tumbler for a 1997 Yukon. I see there a shyteload of aftermarket vendors selling them with keys, and original AC Delco cylinders seems to be abundant for cheap. The AC Delco cylinders do not come with keys. I assume that they come with a...

    1997 Yukon 2 door SLT

Recent purchase. Just swapped in the factory GMC take-offs from a 2019 truck, and unf$&ed a Bubba lift and associated alignment issues. I have always wanted a 2 door 1500, but rust free examples are unobtanium/expensive in the rust belt, and rusty examples are an expensive time bomb. This...

Repalcement steeing wheel for 1997 Yukon

I just learned about the post count when I attempted to post a WTB in marketplace. I don't care if the steering wheel is leather wrapped or not. I will keep an eye out.

Repalcement steeing wheel for 1997 Yukon

I plan to replace the thrashed leather steering wheel in my 1997 Yukon while replacing the lock tumbler. Other than planning to keep the airbag, I have no special requirements, other than it to be clean and solid. I don't care if it is leather wrapped or not. Are there any special issues...

No passenger air bag switch in 1997 Yukon?

It appears that I do not have a passenger airbag non/off switch in my 1997 Yukon. When where the switches installed, and is it possible to install one from a 1998?
