GMC 3500 w/7.4L CC lb heater problems

My 98 heat stopped working. I flushed the heater core,but I couldn’t find the heater control valve. I had it sitting next to a 7.4 97-99 3/4 ton suburban with the hoods up. The suburban had the valve in line with the heater hoses, mine just has the hoses going into the firewall. Could there be...

I’ve been looking for a red suburban to do a door switch. So I guess I need some wiring harnesses too.

I was told the wiring is in the truck you just need the door with the connectors hanging out of them to connect to it. Is that true? My truck is just like yours,it was a work truck too. No power windows and locks, single headlights.

I know this is off the topic but I was wondering if you had changed your doors and front grill? Did you convert the doors to power?

Body side molding? Pros and cons??

Do you like them on or off and why? I’m on the fence about taking mine off. If you can send a before and after pic please.
