    No acceleration at beginning of drive

    Replaced the fuel pump last night. It got rid of the god awful fuel pump whine from the old one. However, I still get almost no throttle response at the beginning of my drive. Any thoughts? Maybe a new truck lol. Sent from my ASUS_Z00AD using Tapatalk

    Dealer cleaned throttle body & then tried replacing fuel filter to no avail. They said a new fuel pump may fix the issue; but not guaranteed. They said it is a fuel volume problem; not fuel pressure. They said it would be about $800 -$900 to do the fuel pump. I am thinking about doing it myself...

    Yes 98. Within the past 10,000 miles/ 1.5 yrs: Complete front end rebuild (joints, axles, arms, bearings, etc). New valve cover gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, rotor/cap, plugs, wires, rear diff rebuild, fuel filter.

    When I start driving either when the car is cold or warm, the truck hardly responds to the throttle. I can put it to the floor and no acceleration occurs. After several seconds, the truck starts to respond and runs fine. I took it to the Chevy dealer and they said it was due to a gummed up...

    1998 K1500 5.7L Truck vibrates (not terrible but annoying) most noticeably at 60-75mph. I also notice it when I let off of the throttle to let it coast (again, at hwy speeds). Any Ideas? It is not the front end as I had the whole front end replaced (not because of this issue).
