Cruise not working

See if your torque converter locks properly. If it does not lock, thats a pretty good indicator that its the brake switch.

Brake switch is the most common issue. I used to replace them all the time on the gmt800s when I was a gm mechanic. What you can try is instead of lifting the brake pedal try tapping it side to side. Seema to get more results that way. As far as testing it I always used a scanner to see its parameters.

I think ur talking to me lol. Mines a manual shift 5spd

My bad, too many people and too many trucks on here to keep everybody straight lol. I do not know how to test your brake switch, although i would almost bet thats what it is. The 95 up trucks did not have the wire breaking in the blinker stalk issue. Cant really think of anything else off the top of my head that it would be.
