Whats the likelihood of the truck above being optioned with a NV4500 vs NV3500 behind a 7.4L?

Found one for sale, non-running currently, that I'm trying to go look at. Already has a plow setup hanging off the front and possibly controller to go along with it.

if it's a big block and a standard, it will be the NV4500. Or if someone really evil swapped it out. 9 times outta 10, if it's a 2500, 6 or 8 lug, it would be the 4500....

Good to hear. I suspected as much but haven't laid hands on many standard shift 400s, except 4.3 wt variants. I may be plotting to rob the truck for a potential swap in the suburban...

Looks like it could use cab corners, and maybe some love around the grille unless its camera angles making the grille edges seem to stand proud of the fenders. For $1200, its worth a 2 hours drive on a rainy day to go take a look at it. Cage on the bed dosen't come with it per listing.

Even tho it is a light duty 2500 it should still have the 4500. Wont be a 454, not with 14b semi float....

Yeah. Took another look at listing and they have 350 and 454 listed. Guessing she doesn't know exactly what it is. Will find out later today

Non-running currently. Said it needs brake lines, battery, and not sure what else. Claimed to have parked it when they bought a newer truck several years ago. Inspection died in 2018..

If it comes home with me, it may get rehab and driven as is.

I'd bring a battery and try to fire the thing. It's priced as a non runner. A friend of mine bought a OBS F150 eons ago priced as a non runner. He paid the man and proceeded to install a battery and computer and drove it onto the trailer. Dude was pissed. We got a chuckle out of that. Lazy f'er had it sitting dead for a hot minute after he hooked the battery up backwards.
