Thanks. It’s a nice bike but definitely too big for a first bike having 1300CC. I wouldn’t do that again.
Meh, unless you've never ridden a bike ever. It's what, 100 hp? Modern 600's have that.
Solid and predictable, if you're big enough to handle the weight of the thing I think it wouldn't be too bad.

It was my first bike. Yes 100 hp-ish. It’s about 850 pounds and top heavy which is quite a bit if I were to drop it. I am on the lighter side…for now. Let me age some and that will change!

Here’s an update. I got the trans bolted up the other day and tonight got the motor and trans back in! Tomorrow I’ll finish hooking things up.

I finally managed to get all the parts needed for the carb swap. Originally I was going to keep the stock carbs and bypass emissions. Forget that…Those carbs are not worth rebuilding for the cost. Now I’m pulling the head off next to put an 89 Accord one in its place. Then the 89 Accord intake and finally a brand new Weber progressive kit from Redline!

What do you gain with the Accord head and intake?

With the Accord head and intake, I can bolt on a single Weber carb. The Prelude head has a different pattern of studs for its own intake. A custom intake with twin Chinese knockoff Webers would’ve been $918. I’m not racing this thing so an Accord head, intake and genuine Weber carb for $500 was more reasonable.
