That 6-speed would have me giggling like a little school girl-which would most likely freak out my two girls still in school.....

Now that is funny!!! By the way I have a "better idea" than the vortec distributor. and simpler as well. if you do go with this setup. I will be posting the "HOW TOO" article on a different sight soon. I will let everybody know where when it is up, and going to try and make it as simple as ....I can doh!!

Yeah, I think You were the one who put a regular dizzy on your LT1, right? How does that work out money wise? Machining the intake vs. replacing the Opti-no-spark? Or even vs, the coil on plug setup?

yup that is what this thread is all about, the intake is $250, 411 ECU $150, and dyno was $350 verses $300 to $350 for a new opti-never-spark plus labor. I do have a couple of diferant ideas that may be a little cheaper and easer, but that is for a later discussion.

everybody listen up, Ya better stay far away from this setup, I am serious - really - , if you have ever drivin an LT1 powered Camaro or Vette, take that power, acceleration, sound and feel. transplant it into your Pickup, "of course with more weight" you might begin to understand the exilleration. I drove it to work today. a little over 1/2 throttle it accellerated to 100 real quick and smooth plus it wanted to keep goin!!!! had to rein it in LOL
