I'm Awesome
So i need a new exhaust and love duals but i wanna go for a different look. I have a 5.7L vortec is there anyway a 6.5L exhaust would work from a y pipe to mufflers back?

I was wondering if i could just add a y pipe right behind the muffler and then the 4” exhaust just didn’t know if that would be too big of a pipe or not.Since you have a vortec there is no Y pipe. They are duals all the way back to the muffler. I think they are 2.25 inches.
just get a muffler of choice and go with a 3 or 3.5 inch tail pipe?
Would you happen to have any pics of how you done it?The 6.5 stuff works fine. I have a 4" 6.5 tailpipe on my dually gasser.
Sorry should’ve been more specific, does it just have a y pipe going into the tailpipe? If so do you have a picture of it? Would just the 4” tail pipe be too much for the 5.7l or would it be fine? The pipe is bent for the truck, not sure what you're wanting a picture of? You can also buy 3" mandrel bent stuff made by Walker right from the parts stores or online. My 1500 has a 3" setup.
Thank you for the links on everything but i was just wondering if I could just add a y pipe to the back of my mufflers I already have then just add the tail pipe because it was cut off when i got ithttps://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/flo-2010023/year/1997/make/chevrolet/model/k1500

Not sure if the links will work. But that's how you exhaust system is made up to the muffler. Hope it helps
