i was just wondering if I could just add a y pipe to the back of my mufflers I already have then just add the tail pipe because it was cut off when i got it

Sure, got a welder and a band saw or Sawzall? There were some Vortecs that came with a Y pipe, maybe the 5.0?

Id like to have them but i also like how the diesel exhaust looks and not sure how hard it’d be or if i could even run them duals, would look good though

Yes i do lol. I have no clue about exhaust on any other truck mine has true duals already it’s just cut off under the cab.

It would be possible. If you have 2 mufflers just get adapters for your size pipe 2.25 or 2.5 to 4 inch. But if you have stock style 2 in to 1. You will need a Y pipe and adapters.

I have factory duals, how could i route the passenger side? Would it be easier to just buy 4” pipe from the parts store or would buying the diamond eye kit make it easier?

I have the diamond eye system on my 6.5. If you would like some pics of the tail pipe section I can get them for you. I don't know if it would help you decide on what you are wanting to do.

Also just so you know 4 inch is a lot bigger then you think when you get it installed. On my 6.5 I am not able to to put a spare in the factory place due to my tire size and pipe size. I don't know if its just my truck or not.
