Did you just do those splices? Those look like the connections are open o the elements. Those connectors are covered in heat shrink sleeves, but are un-shrunk.

Yes just recently. Took the other ones off to check wiring. Just haven't shrunk these yet.

Looks about right for the length and gauge of wire. I'm under the impression that there was a bad part installed somewhere, or there's something small we're not thinking of. Definitely get the right fittings and test your pump and filter to remove them from the equation and move on to the regulator and injectors.

and regulator were tested for leaks before
putting back together. Just dropped the filter
to rule it out, blew air through with no problems.

Only thing I can see changing is the pcv
valve hose, looks a little rough. Think
that'll be enough to cause my issue?
