so to do the swap to the hd truck calipers you need to use the rotors too...that mean the light duty 2500 6 lug rotors?

im in need of new calipers and lines pretty soon but no so much in need of the rotors of pads last time i looked at them though

Ok see if I understand this fully. I have a new set of DJM spindles for a 96 1500 Tahoe. Will this change me to a 6 lug or I will keep my 5 lug.these will give me move stopping power.
1) ss 454 caliper
2) ss454 rotors

ok so the 8600gvw 2500 calipers with stock 1500 pads and rotors and brackets correct

my brakes should still have plenty of life left, i just want to replace both calipers and lines to hopefully help with the 3/4 ton rear brakes

So the 3/4 drums aren't bigger? So just by upgrading the calipers it will increase our stopping power a little, a lot, dramatically???
