I put these on my 96 truck in '99. I thought they were called bumper guards back then but not sure.

Oh my...it had to be at local dealer, local truck shop, a catalog or something. I can't remember. We didn't vendors through amazon or ebay back then.

I searched ebay on bumperettes and looks like they come up. These just strap over the bumper and they will bite into the trim.

These fit right up. They have a strap that goes around the bumper. They are notched to clear the bumper trim. I don't believe they are available anymore except used from a pick yard, or expensive new old stock if you can find them.

How much did you pay for those? There is a junk yard near me that has one of those. Only one. They seem to be super, super rare.

It was so long ago but i am guessing $75-$120? That place on ebay is selling new old stock, part # seems to be GEM #653L118. You could probably email Sowderdistributing the pics above to make sure it's the ones. Their ebay ad says generic pic shown, they will email a pic of the real item.
