The ad isn’t clear: does the “restoration” just amount to a $32k detail job while leaving a 190k mile drivetrain untouched?
You are correct, a Cummins wouldn't need anything. The piece of crap surrounding it is another story.Did you see the frame? No rust at all. It's in Milwaukee where most of these trucks are rust buckets. I wouldn't expect a Cummins to need anything with only 190K miles.

Is it worth the 20k you would lose to do it?It would be kinda fun to buy it, treat it like a truck for a year, and then make sure they seller gets a good look at it all rode hard and put away wet!
If I had $32K to blow on something like this, yes it would be worth the $20K for a good laugh. Now if it were a GMC........Is it worth the 20k you would lose to do it?
