I figured the clear coat and wet sanding was what really makes them look like glass but it's all about elbow grease and a DA polisher eh? :hmm:

Well ya see how the rockers are that damn grey color? Totally kinda ruins the look I'm going for...Imagine how my truck could look if I had skills like logikfive dude and could blend all my paint and make everything perfect in my drive way....Anyway I'm trying to figure out an alternative for the rockers so they're atleast flippin' black and not grey.

I know your pissy with it but I don think it looks as bad as you make it out to be. A little contrast isn't all bad.

but if you do it right the first time you wont have to do it over

in some cases, yes, but what we are saying is that if you change your mind about something he did to his truck...im sure he thought the rocker panels looked sick right after he panted them with truck liner, because he had god awful chrome rocker panels... now, he wants to change them to a glossy look....

life is all about change my friend...

life is about chage, thats why darwin's theory is correct. but thats not the point, the point is that he knew eventually he was gonna wanna paint his rockers so why not just do it and get it over with?

ok, ill start with the first post i put tonight... saying i called it ( refering back to when he did the plasti dip when i told him he wouldnt be happy with it) then he stated i was correct, then i said a silly stupid saying ive always been told. then he said that was dumb... then u said something i am completely lost on, trying to make my sayign wrong... although mine is correct, if you know you wont be happy with it if its not right ( which was obovious from the rest of his post) then why do it wrong the first time?
