That doesn't always work, my 07 classic is a legit 07 per the VIN, but it's a GMT 800.Here again,use the VIN for parts...as long as your truck is stock this should help a lot.
The Escalade/Denali twins are a fancy trimmed Tahoe/Yukon with a different front clip.1st gen Escalades, '99/'00 are 400's. Basically a re-badged Denali.
