It's going into my red crew cab. Notice the selections. I could've done a 400HP motor or a stock replacement, i want something right in between. And i know i could swap a cummins into it... Cummins swap will be way more expensive than i'm looking to spend. Otherwise i'd do it. 350 is a nice reliable option for what i'm going to use it for.

I'm leaning towards the cheaper option. Its still a viable option and for what i'm going to use it for? meh, that will work just fine. 325HP and 375 ft lbs of torque is suitable, heck the stock vortec 454s put out 290HP and 400 ft lbs of torque.

Going in my 94 chevy crew cab.... won't tow hardly at all. Just a street cruiser.

Figured, the vortec motor has the "truck style block" as well, i just dont know if the extra 25HP is worth the $500

Vortec Head's and a Vortec intake to fit them would set you back more than 500, if you decide you want more later. And they really are the best factory head's.

I doubt i'll really want to add more power later, its a crew cab long bed, its not going to be hitting up the drag strip anytime soon haha. And i have a 6.5 to do all the towing.

Just want to make sure it will be adequate for a 1 ton truck. I'm not going to ask it to tow much, i'm just going to use it to cruise around and go to shows.
