There used to be a kit for that. Year & years (& years!) ago. Although apparently it was a nightmare to install & to keep working.

The rear window is out of a 73 suburban.
I basically took the tailgate and the upper window trim off the suburban.
I took the old window out and did a cut and fold the old window lip. The upper trim is 3 pieces that screw in. I had to cut a little bit at the bottom sides of the frame to get the trim pieces to fit.
I took the suburban tail gate and cut it in half. Exposing the lift and the window rails. If you picture the outside of the tail gate. I cut across the top body line keeping the window trim and about an inch of sheet metal to weld to the existing window frame. Keep in mind this piece is attached to the lift bracket.
I then welded the the bottom of the lift bracket to the old seat belt studs. (still need to make final bottom bracket) I took the window rails out of the tail gate and made my own brackets to attach them to.
All in all. The window motor was bad in the suburban and I had to buy new rubber molding from lmc.
I got about $500 invested.
