Updated catalog link, part numbers still the same.

EDIT - Also one other thing I noticed, these headlights appear to have a small third bulb socket in the low beam side of the housing. Maybe a 194 or 168 bulb for a DRL? Kind of makes sense, I seem to remember someone mentioning that the European tail lights were wired differently than ours as well. Something to do with the extra amber section for the turn signal...

some of the Euro tails have a rear fog light in them.....on the driver side. instead of 2 reverse lights some cars had 1 fog and 1 reverse....i think that's where i fell asleep in my chair at 100 o'clock this mornin.......

man.....lights sure are exhausting.

seems you can break a ball-bearing in a sandbox with a rubber mallet..........i think i'd procure quality 1/4", 3/8"AND a 1/2" torque wrenches if i did that ****.....LMFAO. glad you didn't do my back surgery.
Is that the same as breaking a stainless steel ball in the middle of the desert wearing boxing gloves ?

I've found all this information myself previously, but have yet to find a way to get them lights easily in North America. If you figure out a way let us know, I would definitely be interested in a set if I ever were to find them.

well hello sir........when i first joined up here, you and your lighting exploits got me very curious. i never bothered to upgrade the little lamps in my '90 K/5 as i was going to swap the grill setup out for the old stacked 4X6 i liked......and your truck really caught my eye.

thanks for sharing.

when i worked at NYC Harley i had a huge batch of customers constantly coming from Brazil.....they'd call in their order weeks before arriving and pick it up when they flew in...it was the closest dealer from the city(proper) and where they stayed... ..70% of that dealership's counter sales was from foreigners coming in to NY... the cost of our stuff down there is often close to 3X due to taxes, tarrifs and corruption....a dang $10K Sportster was 27,000 US dollars in Brazil and that was in 2013......only very affluent individuals owned Harleys.

example.....Frank, a customer of mine. he was a pilot and when he had a layover flight into JFK Airport he'd come in and buy TWO of everything he wanted. one for him and one for his "contact" in customs down there......a $500 Harley Daymaker LED headlight ended up costing him $1K US dollars to own. it was a deal as he'd say....they couldn't get them down there, like we can't get their **** here.

i wish i still had those contacts, i know some of those folks would have brought things in for me......hell, they would pay for seats on the plane for their children just so they could bring back the additional 22 kilos of product(per seat) they were allowed to put on the plane.......twas big business for some of them. huge "black market" businesses in Harley clothing and parts.

there was a "technician" (a fancy word for a mechanic that don't know how to spin a wrench) that worked there named Carlos, he was from Brazil and we got along pretty well...sometimes we used him as a translator for big transactions. it was worth it for them to pay his salary for half a day to sell ****...if i ever find myself in that neck of the woods i'll go there and talk to him. i know he worked there a few months ago.......might be a potential way, but it would be real big money......like fu@kin super stupid amounts of paper.

Will do! There's got to be some kind of re-packaging service in Brazil that would receive a shipment for us and send it out internationally. I'll look into it, and I encourage anyone else who's interested to do the same. The more people we can get on it, the more likely someone is to figure it out.

that would sure be cool....but the cost would be huge i think.
i used to sent my Harley heads to friend in Canada for port work.... they first went to a "broker" in Montana that in turn shipped the stuff to Canada. now i just pay the vig with a declarations paper. it has to say "USA parts for repair and return", or some such verbiage. what would cost me $40 to send to MT costs $85 to get to Saskatchewan(200 miles north), then the ****** has to come back!......ain't done that in a spell, it could have changed with this political climate we have now.....NAFTA and all that **** i have no idea about. SSouth America is a horsey of a different color.

in Europe they call those "city lights"....or DRL's as we have em.

somewhere i found a thread that someone was communicating with someone down there, LOL.....i think it was stated that Arteb stopped making those in '06 or so......i'm sure they're still floating around though as we can see.

it's my intuition that Hella designed those lamps for that market....and was manufactured and distributed by Arteb......i have no proof, just from the little i've been able to translate from various sources.....like the one i posted.

i have not seen that site, but i've read up on some retrofitting. now this IS interesting if i had a new Dodge truck.. https://www.theretrofitsource.com/c...on-specific/morimoto-retroquik-dodge-ram.html

what ya got in mind about that site? that stuff looks like real good quality equipment as well.

....i'm on a slippery slope here because i'm thinking on trying those Hella halogen projectors....which are a sealed unit, no cover lens needed.....it's still illegal but not if used on a motorcycle in the USA......e-codes aren't legal either, but that is a legal horse of a different color so it's a nonstarter conversation too.....but making a headlight behind a stock lens on OUR trucks is a DIFFERENT kind of illegal in my mind...HAHA, i know....backyard engineering 2.0...one guy on here did a nice job i think, i'd have to go back and refresh my recollection before further comment.

oh the options if we went to W/T grill assembly!

.....and because i live in the heart of this loonie bin know as zoo yawk shity, or New York City to outsiders, i can tell you that the worst thing in the world is these homegrown headlight techs.....the newest cars are somewhat annoying to me because of glare and my wrecked eyes....but these billions of little tuner ***** with UFO lighting and competition stereo systems are only on this phuckin earth to challenge my ability to NOT let my wolf loose.....oh, i fu@kin hate em!........tis why i'm trying to upgrade my vehicle with stock bulbs......and what "legal" lenses we have to use. .....i'm kinda like a half-a-hypocrite in that case then.

a few of us have seen that "black market" thread and have tried to help the gent......though some of us have lost patience for this kind of stuff.....i doubt it will stop us from trying though.

yea, $188.32 per side........if there was a reasonable way to get them, i'd actually consider it because i like weird, odd, cool lookin stock ****..just look at any of my bikes...i'd bet they're almost as good as Bosch e-codes too, which are no longer available, so it's actually a viable legal-lookin option that would work well with a harness upgrade imo....

Lord knows i'v not been a choire boy in my past life and i'm not cowering behind a law guide.......i just don't wish to be interviewed by a LEO on the side of the road for any reason i can prevent. it's a waste of our time....and i don't want to distract or 'dazzle' anyone whilst driving, that's dangerous.

God i miss living upstate.

from what i've heard theretrofitstore is legit. seems to be extras/discontinued/blemished kind of stuff. some of the LED stuff looks good.
did you look in the "closeouts" section? in the top right menu? best section.
