update, i pulled my pump on the 14th, shipped on the 15th, they received it tuesday morning on the 19th....

he told me a few times, " we have a 2-3 turn around time and will get you going asap"......

today is the 25th, he has had my pump 7 days, 5 business days, we will say 4 because its only 9 am here.....

i asked on friday if he got my old pump and said yes, i had to ship it out to stanadyne!!!! i told him a few times i do not want that pump and want money back or a new pump. the case is bad, he saw the pics in an email and said ill send a new pump but you have to buy it and ill refund your money, or ship old one and when i get it ill ship new one.....and now its been 7 days and my pumps at another shop?!!!

and to top it off he has an attitude with every communication i have had with him, talking down to me and questioning everything, to the point i emailed him my ASE Master med/heavy truck tech paperwork to try to get him to listen. now hes trying to break the warranty asking "for the record, what fuel and additives did you run".....i never ran any and none would wreck the outside of the case anyways......he is a scammer and need to be put out of business!!!

at this point i want my money back asap so i can go to another company, i am done with him!....oh and my truck is sitting tore apart in my friends garage still.....

You're having some serious bad luck, I feel bad for you!
If a company treated their costumers like that in Sweden they would be out of business in no time, it's a small country and things like that spread fast. I don't understand why people have to be so damn rude to their costumers, to me it's just an obvious sign of incompetence, he probably have no idea what he's doing.
I hope you get your money back soon!

after he sent the pump back to "stanadyne" (i still do not believe these are rebuilt by stanadyne)..."they" told him the case was bad too, so he sent me another pump that day. i got it april 27, last wednesday, so it was 14 days, 2 weeks that my truck/ daily driver, was down, tore apart in my friends garage in his wife's space! i paid $30 to ship it to him, $30 for gaskets and sealers, and now need to find a scanner to set the timing again.....
i installed it after work and got it going.

I am debating if i should post my email contacts with him from the beginning, you would not believe them.....

in the end they guy did warranty the pump, but this was some bullshit and he is very very rude and made me jump through hoops. i got zero money for my parts, time or labor, no store credit, no free parts, nothing. i will NEVER USE SS DIESEL SUPPLY AGAIN AND REALLY HOPE EVERYONE SEES THIS AND WILL SUPPORT OTHER VENDORS WITH BETTER PRODUCTS AND A PROFESSIONAL STAFF.

Glad to hear it's going again. Sad you had to go through all that **** just to get it right. In the end it was made right but it took way more fooling around and beating around the bush to get the necessary and proper result. I don't think you could have done anything different or better given the situation.

have not timed pump yet, went and got my own snap on brick to time it....blew tranny on my 67 buick a few weeks ago, rebuilding that now, it clunked in back also so i ordered $400 worth of suspension stuff this morning, drove truck across town to finish tranny in my 67 so i could weld broken cab mounts on the truck, and freaking tranny blew on the truck!!! im having a good run of bad luck. at least the th400 is alot like the 4l80e so i got practice, and build race tranny for the 67, should be cheaper to do a stock rebuild, looks like $400 so far. might poke around a little but think ill just pull and rebuild once i get some money.....the cab is at stock height on the pass side now!!!3" lower! not good, gotta weld that still too.....i put the truck out to pasture, parked in yard, taking everything in me not to put a bullet in it and end my misery.

I really hope your luck turns around. Sounds like too much hassle for a short amount of time.
