Heck I wish... well I'll have to wait till 3pm... this tournament is so strict, they put u on a lie detector and give u a breathalyzer if u catch a wining fish... sucks too lol.

Wow! So I guess the cold ones stay in the pickup eh..
I can understand it though, I'm assuming top prize is up there $$

We've had people fish out of bounds, illegal gear, illegal waters, etc.. Wish we had a lie detector for some of the scum bags that DO cheat or violate the rules..
There have been people that have paid for a big fish to weigh it in, (people who caught it were not in the derby)

Pretty brutal. Takes the fun out of it for the guys who are playing legit.

And that derby is only $10k for the biggest fish of the 3-day weekend.
($3k, $2k, $1k, top 3 fish per day)
Extra $7k to biggest fish of weekend

Sorry I haven't updated anything on Green in so long... 408 is built and siting in the corner of my shop.. I've gotta another little project that's been tying up my funds and time here lately.

Well boys I believe ol Green's pusher is about played out... or played out enough I'm tired of fixing a 200k engine. A few days ago on my way to work, she left me stranded half way without notice. Door knob dead, no spark. I checked all the ignition system and couldn't find anything out of wack with my multimeter or under the dizzy. The only thing I didn't check was the ICM because I have no intention of buying one. That means its time to put my game face on and slam the 408 in finally. I been looking for a feasible excuse to drop it in and this is a good enough reason for me.

Yeah I've always wanted one, loved em even when i was a kid. And almost bought one before my Nissan 370z but she's here now... I also wanted a z06 from the get-go but just could pass up the deal on my car. So now its gonna be a z06 killer!

Well boys I pulled the engine a few days ago

Started putting on my accessories and hit my first speed bump... passenger bracket fits fine.

Drivers side, not so much.

The drivers side ac compressor mount is hitting my tall valve covers and I gotta run them because of the full roller rockers I'm using. So I'm looking at trimming off the rear, outside mounting tab and spacing up the compressor to clear... any thoughts?
