Holy smokes!!!! You are one lucky SOB!!!
And to our American friends....that's 120km/hr (I hope!) So about 75mph. Still scary!!!

Where did it happen? In town on the Henday?

I was on highway 37 passing a semi when the axle broke… just kinda bounced down the ditch till it came to a stop eventually.

On a better note I bought some amazing parts for my 92 today but I will wait till I have them installed to show them off! Also I picked up my damaged rim from “wheel works”, I had bought a set of 4 wheels knowing one was damaged but they did a fantastic job welding it and truing it up on a wheel lathe!

You are soooooo lucky!!! 37 doesn't have much for shoulders and the ditches are pretty deep in most spots. Glad you made it out unscathed. Parts are easily replaced, lives not so much.
Will be a hell of a story at the next safety meeting!!! Lol

I'd say buy a lotto tic, but the 70mill was won here Tuesday, so it goes back to Ontario or Quebec for a while! Lol

Can't wait for the big reveal of your new parts!

Good to know there is a good wheel shop in town, hopefully I'll never need their service.

Wow, that would have taken some gentle pedal and steering work to bring to a safe halt in the icy conditions you all have been reporting. I tip my hat to you for staying calm, so many people just lose the plot when anything untoward happens and make things worse.

Oh yeah I’m cool calm and collected for sure! Yes I watch some people under pressure and it’s dangerous the way they loose thier cool!

The Yukons axle issue was a perfect excuse to put in on my trailer and bring the 92 home to the driveway! It’s been at my storage lot which is close to here! The long tubes and dual 2.5” are talking 6.0 music, I haven’t drove my 12 very often as the Yukon has been great.

Yukon is in storage on the trailer so I can work on the 92 for a few months. Jacked up the hitch and winched it into the trailer lol!

30.5” tall tires vs the 35s. I’ve removed the 35s from the Yukon and will use them on the 92 for now. That’s a hint towards the next mod that will allow the 35s to fit without a suspension lift. And it isn’t a body lift. Any guesses???
