Yes if your muffler is bad. Being your truck is 94 I would change out the cat

I just learned that there was a rebate on the dynomax...bummer. $75 off could have really helped. I don't recall, but I think the cat welded on the intake end. Any recommendations on a good flowing, not expensive cat? Thanks again for the help.

Magnaflow makes a good free flowing cat for about $100

So it looks like the magnaflow 94009, which is a universal is the only option. Do you ever worry about the pipe between the manifold and that cat rusting out? Just asking as I don't want to have to get into the exhaust again in a couple of years. Thanks.
