What in the F--- AM I MISSING?

In my settings, for Default Thread Subscription Mode I have it set for "Through my control panel only"

If I click Quick Links -> Subscribed Thread, EACH ONE SAYS "NONE" for Notification.

I am getting emails daily about updates to threads. The updates are over a month old. I just deleted 8 friggen email for threads that have been inactive since EARLY MARCH! WTH?! I do NOT want any email unless it is from an admin or a member.

Admin, Moderator...someone, please help me fix this.

mine does it too, itll kill my phone for a day sending me hundreds of notifications via email that i dont want and are months old

I get that too, comes in waves and my e-mail blows up.

You have to unsubscribe from any thread or every time someone makes a comment you will recieve an email, a month later.

Something is messed up.

Your settings are correct to not receive email notifications.

Same as mine. I receive no email notifications to any threads with those settings, subscribed or not.

The forums is having other errors today also.

I wouldn't be surprised if its all related somehow.

Sometimes it also takes a while for your setting to actually change after you edit them.

I would suggest you just have your email send those unwanted email to junk or spam until it gets sorted. Maybe just have an occasional look in your junk folder if you are worrying about missing something...

I have that problem too. Went to sleep with no emails and woke up with 20+ all from this forum.
