yea CAI wont do a thing. If you have the stock Intake just flip the lid and call it good. A big block would probably need dual fans. my 350 runs on a 3600cfm electric off ebay with no problems. I could fit 2 side by side which would be perfect for your application. I hate clutch fans.

Most CAI aren't truly cold air. If I ran piping somewhere where engine bay heat wasn't present than I might feel a little difference on the butt dyno but the kits that you can buy are probably a toss up vs. Stock
