So recently inherited a 98 c1500. The tires on the truck looked horrible with dry rot (surprised they were holding air). I found some 32inch UTV tires that would fit my stock 15inch rims. I know they will not last as long on the road as they are softer but is there any huge issues I’m going to run into that I’m not thinking about? Problems mounting to rim?

If you're planning on driving it ONLY on your hunting property, go ahead.

Anywhere else NO NO NO NO NO NO

Those are not DOT legal, they have a max speed of 25, and aren't rated for the weight of an automobile. If a cop sees you driving on them, your truck gets impounded.

I wouldn't risk your or any other drivers safety on the road for that kind of foolishness.
Do me a favor... if you're silly enough to do this, and you're heading out on surface streets, give me a heads up so I can stay home. My, and my kids' safety, means more to me than yours.

So now since it’s a no go, I’m curious what they run the risk off. Would they break the bead because of the weight or would they just destroy themselves?

I had a Saturn out on my property with skid steer tires up front. Thing was great until Autumn rains turned my trails to muck.
Now my ole blue '88 has R1 tractor tires up front, and 255/85/16 with chains on the rear. That thing is unstoppable.
"Off road only" tires will likely fit automobile wheels fine, the bead is the same. Just not DOT legal.

A guy I work with bought a dump truck from a golf course. It had special 16.1" diameter turf tires that had matching wheels. Again, it was written right on the sidewall "not for highway use".
