Turn signals recently stopped working. Hazard lights work fine. Checked all the fuses and they're all good. Is it possible that the relay under the dash could be bad even though the hazard lights still flash?

Don't have a wiring diagram in front of me, but I believe there is a separate flasher unit for the 4 ways and turn signals. So it could be

flasher is gone ,its in the panel left side under dash in front of parking brake on firewall the hazards are part of the combination switch (signal lever) the flasher for those is in the switch

This is the one I'm talking about. I got a new one from autozone, but it must not be the right one because it doesn't fit tight and the hazards dont work when its plugged in. I just don't know if there is another one for the turn signals only or if it is a problem with the "stalk".
