Wow, I will never understand how some people can hack something up so bad and drive it without a care in the world.

Right? I drove it around town when I first got it running and i'm glad I didn't drive it any more than that. It's been this way for a few years apparently.

some more updates, he dove a bit deeper into the welds on the rear setup, he's also going to add shock mounts for the front and i'm going to replace the upper/lower ball joints in the next few days. He thinks my arms are warped because of the hack job, so yay, new arms lol. Where's a good place to buy replacements?

Good to see that you're fixing it so that it's right & proper. Safe, too!

My S-Jimmy was lowered & then put back together by a kid with nothing bigger than a 3/8 ratchet. Not a cotter pin in the whole front-end. Kid said to me when I got it, he felt it was one of the safest vehicles that he had ever rode in, because HE built it! Said it drove like a Caddy @ 100mph (?!?!)
The U-bolts holding the rear end in where little more than finger tight! I wouldn't drive it the 6 blocks to my shop! Got there on a flat deck!
Some people should not own tools!

Wow, that's scary. He found another crack on the other side of the frame and the upper arms are warped. He said the ball joints were maxed out when at fulll lift and it caused the edges to lift up. So I bought some new ones today (no pics) off a 99 burb. Does anyone have pics of where they mounted their air management stuff?
