i'm a bit ignorant when it comes to these, i'm guessing the halo's are linked in with the running lights? or is there a seperate switch all togeather?

They're just 2 wires hanging down from the headlights. You can wire them wherever. A swore ate switch, or wire them into the parking lights like I did.

you can get pretty cheap ccfl halos on ebay, but good luck trying to find one that would fit that oval shaped one...
