Quick question: Are the tie rods the same on 2WD and 4WD on half-tons, or are they different?

Reason I ask is, the inner tie rods on my latest K1500 are worn pretty bad and need replaced. I was looking on Rockauto and noticed two things:

1. On 2WD models, there's a castle nut and on 4WD models, it's just a regular nut.
2. The stud on the inner for 4WD applications seems to be a bit shorter than the 2WD models, or at least that what it looks like in the photos. Below are the ones I'm looking at. Let me know your thoughts.

Top photo is 2WD bottom photo is 4WD.

Different brands have their own way to fasten them, I had some moog that had a nylon nut and some have had a castle nut, the Mevotech ttx I have now have oversized castle nuts. Just depends on the brands I guess
