Right track, wrong corner.

E36 BMW. The pics you posted are of the generation before, the E30.

Ah, those bigger pictures make them look more like spot type lights. Probably an upgrade for the ambulance and the round housings were the available "high perf" ones and made to fit the openings.

Looks more like some kind of weird custom job to make U.S. market headlights legal in Australia, where that truck appears to be located. GMT400's originally marketed to Australia used quad lamps with the housings made for that country's spec, not the same as the quad halogens from the 88-90 trucks here.

That dash is very very interesting. If it was available in Australia, I'm wondering why Holden Suburbans ended up with a stretched S-10 dash?
