1998 k1500, Just over 250k miles. Picture is from when I first got it in winter, it's pretty much exactly the same aside from a bunch of mechanical work I've done. (Brakes, water pump, tires, exhaust, spark plugs, flywheel, starter, and battery).

This is how my 97 looked the day I drove her home. 5.0 (wish it was the 5.7) Auto transmission.

Leveled the rear with a set of 2" drop shackles.

Got backed into. So much for an all original truck.

Got a pretty close match on paint. Not perfect but neither is the truck.

Removed the side molding and tailgate badge. Ditched the goofy tail lights.

And finally found a set of somewhat local sport wheels and tires. This is how she sits now.

I love what you've done! The sport wheels give it so much more class. And getting hit sucks. Luckily it was just a fender and nothing structural. Hell even gave you the chance to upgrade your lights and grille! Nothing bad about that. Sharp truck.

I agree!!! The sport wheels do make it better looking.

Sorry to hear about the damage, but she looks better now with the upgrades!

Thanks guys. The fender crunch was a bummer. It was actually my dad who did it. He was more upset than I was.

If anything it just sped up getting rid of the old foggy headlights and markers.

This forum has been a huge help. Can't really say it's saved me any money but it has saved a lot of headaches. ;)

That's a good way of putting it.

Finally found a "new" truck, got lucky and it's almost identical to my old one minus the interior color. This is when I brought it home, it's going to be getting some changes soon.

I don't think I had posted a pic in a while. It's a few months old.
